The Shevell Group announced
the honoring of its employees at the year end sales meeting
held in Newark, NJ in December. The following is the list of
outstanding employees who were recognized from the six
companies that form the Shevell Group.
Nick Manzie - Director of
Loss Prevention was presented the Arlene W.
Shevell Memorial Award recognizing him as the most dedicated
worker in the
NEMF family.
Helene Gnudi - South
Plainfield, received the Jack Teicher Award honoring
her as Account Executive of the Year.
Scott Driscoll - Buffalo, was
presented the Paul Danzak award honoring him
for Outstanding Sales Achievement.
Ed Campbell was honored as
National Account Executive of the Year.
Rose Cirne was presented with
the Mark Jensen Award, honoring her for
administrative excellence.
Terminal of the Year status
was awarded to the Syracuse facility with
Terminal Manager Wade Nesbitt accepting this award.
Best Service Terminal honors
were presented to the Allentown Terminal with
Terminal Manager Dave Hillman accepting this award.
Carrier Industries
2007 Most Valuable Player awards were given to Paul Canavan
of the
Pawtucket Facility and to Ken Briendenhach of the Allentown
Facility.
Karyl Carter, Director of
Finance, received the "Sixth Man" award honoring
her support for the Shevell Group.
Carrier's Pawtucket facility
was also honored as Facility of the Year.
Eastern Freightways
2007 Most Valuable Player award was presented to Lee Brooks.

integrated designer and manufacturer of audio/video
furniture systems in modern furniture designs. Bell'O
designs it's furniture in the USA and Italy and has its
manufacturing facilitates in Italy and Asia

Industries was assisted by Mike Lamberth, the NEMF Account
Executive for Bell'O International," stated Andrew
Piera, Sales & Marketing Manager of Carrier Industries.
"Mike uncovered issues in the supply chain of his
customer and came to Carrier Industries for assistance.
Bell'O International's current distribution centers were at
full capacity and with 1000 pallets of a new product line
"on the water" an immediate overflow warehousing
situation was needed. Carrier Industries was able to provide
a warehousing and distribution solution based on the
customer's timetable."

batteries for use in a wide range of military and commercial
applications. The Company's target markets are the U.S.
military, military contractors, vehicle high-energy cells
and batteries for vehicles, auxiliary power units,
uninterrupted power systems and hybrid electric and electric
vehicle manufacturers.
Surebond,
headquartered Madison, WI, produces engineered adhesives and
sealants designed to exceed the most stringent requirements
of their customers.

Industries Receives C-TPAT Certification (January 2007)

Elizabeth, NJ. -
Carrier Industries, a division of The Shevell Group, has
received formal certification under the Customs-Trade
Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT). The program, aimed
at enhancing the security of the nation's international
supply chain, is administered by the U.S. Customs and Border
Protection Agency, part of the Department of Homeland
Security.
Gary
Piscal,
Carrier Industries Vice President, said certification means
that Carrier Industries' operating and security procedures
and its terminals and other facilities have been audited for
compliance with C-TPAT security guidelines, and that the
company has also committed to continue improving security.
The security guidelines encompass such areas as procedural
security, physical security, personnel security, and others.

Eric Nash has joined The
Shevell Group as corporate vice president of integrated
sales. He will be responsible for the selling effort at
Shevell Group companies Eastern Freight Ways, Apex Logistics
and Carrier Industries. He also is charged with coordinating
the selling strategies of the Shevell operating companies.
Nash will be domiciled in Chicago.
Nash comes to The Shevell
Group from Menlo Worldwide, where he spent six years as
senior logistics manager. At Menlo, he received the 2002
president's award for exceeding key company objectives. From
1989 to 2000, he was with Con-way Central Express, starting
as an account executive and later serving as a service
center manager in LaSalle, IL and Albany, NY. He opened the
Albany facility and grew its annual revenues to $14.4
million in five years. He began his career in the trucking
industry in 1988 at as an account executive at Central
Transport in Hodgkins, IL and later was in sales with
Preston Trucking in Chicago.
Nash holds a B.S. in business
administration from Winona State University located in Minnesota..
Nash and his wife, Tracy,
have three sons, twins Conner and Kyle, and Logan.

Gap Inc has
created a partnership with Carrier
Industries utilizing a new logistic
initiative for 2004. This new process
referred to as TMI (Transportation
Management Initiative) is a web based
optimization program allowing the Gap
Transportation group access to information.
The TMI software program will allow Carrier
Industries to tender outbound loads, store
deliveries and pick-ups utilizing the TMI
web site for status update.
The website
programming " i2" will enable
Carrier to view loads and acquire shipment
projections and information. Vendors and
transportation providers will be able to
monitor the progress of purchase orders from
origin to final destination. The rollout for
full utilization is scheduled for Q3 2004.

Carrier Industries has been selected by THE
HOME DEPOT to be their Consolidation Center
for their two new locations currently under
constructed in Manhattan. Carrier will be
dedicating 100,000 square feet at our
Edison, NJ campus to support this operation.
The two Manhattan Flagship stores which are
located on 23rd street and 59th street are
scheduled to open between July & August
2004. In addition to being a 24/7
warehousing facility, Carrier will also be
delivering product directly to each store on
a nightly basis seven days per week. The
Home Depot has had a long standing
relationship with the Shevell Group of
Companies and this newest venture will
continue to expand our relationship.

Flushing, New York. National Compressor

compressors, semi-hermetic stators, motors

will be maintained on Carrier, Copeland,
Dunham-Bush, Trane, York & Worthington (Climatrol)
compressors, rebuilt valve plates, rotary
seals and resurfaced chrome crankshafts.

warehousing and inventory as well as on time
LTL delivery to numerous customers
throughout the Northeast. The Pawtucket

As a result of
Carrier Industries strong service performance
and Gap Inc's intermodal transportation needs
at the New York area ports, Carrier Industries
has been awarded new drayage lanes with UPS
Global Logistics and APL Logistics.
This new
opportunity will consist of container drayage to
New Jersey, New York, and Maryland. The
container delivery will include direct moves to
the Gap Inc distribution centers, and the Edison
consolidation facility.
With the advent
of UPS Global Logistics new trade lane from
Israel, and APL Logistics increased flow of
shipping lanes to the east coast, the proximity
of Carrier Industries consolidation center to
the Ports of New York and New Jersey provides a
great synergy.
Carrier
Industries is also in negotiations with
Expeditors International of Washington, Inc to
secure the intermodal transportation for their
newly acquired Italy trade lane.

Division of retail stores, a Carrier Industries
account starting in September of 2002, has
selected Carrier Industries for their time
sensitive dedicated deliveries to the Mac and
Aveda Estee Lauder Division store group . With
this expansion Carrier Industries Edison NJ
facility will now be delivering to over 45
additional Estee Lauder stores. Each Origins,
Mac, and Aveda retail chain store being serviced
is located in the Metro New York and New Jersey
area. In addition, Carrier Industries warehouse
team also provides carton verification through
RF Scan technology for all of the divisions.
